My name is Lindsay Kovalsky and I am entering my 13th year of teaching and 9th year at Allatoona High School. I graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education, American College of Education in 2011 with a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and Lincoln Memorial University in 2013 with a Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am also the JV Football Cheerleading Coach, as well as co-sponsor the Varsity Baseball Diamond Dolls. In my "spare" time I enjoy running and working out. I ran my first Half-Marathon in 2017 and have been hooked ever since! I also participated in my first Triathlon in 2018.
I met my husband, Michael, in 2001 and have been married since 2008. Michael is a Cobb County Fireman/Paramedic and serves as one of Allatoona High School's first responders. We hope to retire on a tropical island one day!
I have two amazing children who keep me very busy! My son, Smith, is 8 years old and is in 3rd grade. My daughter, Sloan, is 7 years old and is in 2nd grade. Smith and Sloan are the best of friends and love to play and explore together.
